1.Sandalwood & Haldi Face Pack 

Both sandalwood and turmeric have excellent oil-absorbing properties as they help control excess production oil while making skin soft and smooth. Sandalwood is rich in antioxidant properties that help reduce dryness and improve the skin’s elasticity. 

How to Make Face Pack?

Bring out 1 teaspoon of sandalwood powder into a bowl and add a pinch of turmeric powder. Create a fine paste by adding rose water and mix well. 

Apply on your face and wait for 15 minutes. Wash off with cold water. For best results, apply this DIY mask twice a week. 

2. Curd and Turmeric Face Pack 

Yoghurt, commonly known as curd is enriched with good bacteria that not only nourish your skin but make it naturally glowing from within. Also, it helps control the excess production of oil. 

How to Make Face Pack?

Bring out 1 tablespoon of curd in a bowl, add 1 teaspoon fuller’s earth, 1 tablespoon of pure rose water, 1 teaspoon sandalwood and 1 teaspoon turmeric. Create a smooth and thick paste by mixing finely. 

Apply this face mask all over your face and keep it for 15 minutes. Wash well with cold water. Use this face mask once a week for best results.  

3. Turmeric and Coconut Oil Face Pack 

Coconut oil is rich in anti-microbial properties that help provide your skin with endless benefits. It acts as a natural hydrator that not only nourishes dry skin but helps control the excess production of oil. 

How to Make Face Pack?

Bring out 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder in a bowl and add 1 tablespoon of coconut oil. Create a fine paste by mixing well. 

Apply all over your cleansed face and massage for a minute. After 5 minutes, wipe off that

pack and wash your face with a gentle cleanser. 

4. Orange Juice and Turmeric Face Pack 

Rich in Vitamin c and citric acid, orange juice is loaded with antioxidant properties that help exfoliate dead skin cells naturally. Also, it deeply cleanses the pores and makes the skin hydrated.

How to Make Face Pack?

Bring out some turmeric powder in a bowl, add some sandalwood powder and orange juice. Mix all the ingredients to create a thick and smooth paste. 

Apply evenly all over your face with a cosmetic brush and leave for 10 minutes. Rinse well with lukewarm water. For best results, apply this face pack twice a week. 

5. Turmeric and Lemon Juice Face Pack 

Lemon juice has mild astringent properties that help deeply cleanse the skin by removing dirt and impurities. It is good for oily skin because lemon juice helps remove the deposited oil from the pores. 

How to Make Face Pack? 

Bring out 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder in a bowl and add some lemon juice. Create a smooth paste by mixing well.

Apply all over your face using a cosmetic brush. Leave this paste for 10 minutes. Wash well with warm water. Use this face pack once a week for best results.

Caution: If any of the face packs start to irritate your skin, immediately rinse with water and apply moisturizer or cold cream. 

Things to Keep in Mind While Applying Turmeric Powder to Face

  • If you don’t want a bright yellow stain of turmeric on your towel or any face-drying cloth, then we recommend you use an old towel to pat dry your face. 
  • Avoid stepping out in sun immediately after applying the turmeric face pack as your skin becomes vulnerable to getting tanned. Always apply sunscreen afterwards.
